The first introductory video for Vivo’s Super FlashCharge was released today on the Chinese blog site Weibo and showed that a phone was charged between 10% and 14% in about 16 seconds.
The fast-charging race is now getting hot with another company that offers faster charging. This technology is not yet available on any device. Hence the development stage. Today, Vivo introduced the new 120W Super FlashCharge, which says it can fully charge a 4,000 mAh battery in between 0% and 100% in just 13 minutes. You read it right – 4,000 mAh, 0-100% and 13 minutes.
Although it is far from a full charge cycle, this is really impressive. We will have to wait a little longer until we see this technology on a mass produced phone; just like cloud computing solutions by future from other companies.
